Elyse Johnson has been with Latz & Company since 2015 and offers clients nearly a decade of not-for-profit fundraising, providing counsel to address a broad range of fundraising and development needs, including capital campaigns, campaign preparation process and campaign readiness studies, development audits, major gifts, board development and solicitation training. She is dedicated to advancing the mission of her clients and in working effectively preparing them with the tools to be successful. She has worked with a sundry spectrum of organizations within the non-profit sector-art & cultural institutions, educational institutions, professional associations, social services institutions, business development and regional growth corporations. 

Elyse began her career as a Sales Account Representative for technology startups like Groupon, where she spent several years making 45-60 calls a day before transitioning to development.

Throughout her career, Elyse has been actively engaged in the professional Chicago theatre community as an artistic producer, director and dramaturg. She earned a BFA from The Theatre School at DePaul University. She currently serves on the CFW’s Young Women’s Giving Council.
