Lydia Schwerin, Senior Associate
Since joining Latz and Company in 2023, Lydia has supported successful campaigns, written grants, and assisted with both developing and implementing strategies that drive nonprofit growth and sustainability. She has provided direct support to over 10 client engagements, including strategic vision work, grants management, and capital campaigns. With a master's in Nonprofit Administration from the University of Notre Dame and a bachelor's in Social Work from Oakland University, Lydia has a strong background in nonprofit management. She previously served as Director of Before Care at the Boys and Girls Clubs of St. Joseph County, where she implemented practices that led to positive organizational outcomes.
Lydia is also committed to giving back through volunteering. She served as the Co-Chair for the World Refugee Day Gala for the Chicago Refugee Coalition in 2024 and is a member of the Field Museum Associates. Additionally, she contributes her time to Cultivate Food Rescue’s Marketing Committee.
Outside of work, Lydia enjoys hiking, biking, pottery, and exploring new restaurants. She is passionate about making a difference in the nonprofit sector and is eager to continue expanding her impact at Latz and Company.
